Well my dear ol' dad turns 64 today and he's quite excited about becoming a senior citizen next year, but unfortunately there's nothing special about turning. 64.... I thought I would make him a card that makes him feel old though, just to get in the mood ;).



 I played along with this week's Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge and it was a great inspiration to me. I grabbed my watercolors and swiped some green stripes across and yah, that's it!! I did a little paper piecing with the Boob Tubes stamp set and was excited that I had some enamel dots that fit perfectly!! So happy birthday Dad, and I hope you have a great weekend!

1. I had some extra modelling paste on my palette so I scraped it through a stencil onto this book page.

1. The SRM Challenge: July Theme - Wedding Shower. As you will see from the next picture, this is actually a glassine bag, so invitation information, maps, RSVPs etc can all get tucked inside. (this would even make a great card to accompany a wedding gift!) 
2. The 200th Case Study Challenge - I used this week's sketch for my layout and I'm sure glad I did.. I would never have thought to put that little element on the top left corner... Always great inspiration from this challenge!! 

It's our 6th challenge already at Naughty or Nice and I was thinking about this month's challenge as I was setting up my temporary craft-space and I now have two "zones", card-making, and mixed media. I think a lot of us are spending a little more $$ on paints and sprays and gesso etc, and I thought we should have a challenge to share all of our mixed media wonders! 

So what do we mean by Naughty or Nice? Well, take a look at your sentiment stamps - are there any in your collection that are kind of "off-color" or a little bit racy? Pair them with a seemingly innocent image and BAM! You've succeeded in being naughty. But for those of you who cannot find a devilish stamp that fits the bill, no worries - you could be nice and post a card with our theme and you will be fulfilling our challenge parameters too!

• You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword NON6 so we can check out your beautiful work! You can also use online photo-sharing sites like Flickr to share your photos too!

• Whether you are Naughty or Nice, we sure would appreciate cards made especially for this challenge, but if you really, really want to, please link a card that fits NO MORE THAN 5  CHALLENGES including ours! *changed it to allow more people to play along!!
