Hi there! All this week the Stampendous! design team has been sharing brand-new creations with our new releases for October. They are all now available on our website in addition to your local scrapbooking and stamping stores and favorite online stamping retailers, so check it out! There are a lot of great vintage-themed stamps, I can’t wait to try out some of the circus-themed sets… So trendy!
Today I used a set called “Rose Thoughts Perfectly Clear Stamps.” It’s a clear stamp set, just FYI.
I coloured the rose with Copics (R89, 46, 32, 20; G29, 46, 43; BG01, 000, 0000) and added some shading with my General’s Pastel Chalk pencil in black. After the colouring was completed I used one of the most elegant Nestabilities dies to cut out the image. Once cut out, I left the die on the paper and sponged around the edge with Scattered Straw Distress Ink.
