1. Tape Petals Background stencil to black cardstock. 
2. Smear Translucent Embossing Paste over stencil with Paste Spreader. 
3. Remove stencil and pour Crystal Micro Glitter over paste. Shake off the excess and allow paste to dry. 
4. Once paste is dry cut cardstock to size.

Today, on the Technique Tuesday Blog we are spotlighting two more stamp sets from our Summer release: Cool and Beach Time by Ali Edwards.

I absolutely love making tags. 

It's a good way to play around with new techniques on a little "canvas." 

You can have fun, and if it doesn't work out  - oh well! It's just a tag!!

For today's tag it was an experiment from beginning to end and I was very pleased with the results!

I think my favorite thing about this image is the little goblin following the girl! He reminds me of my little puppy - my shadow! Soooooo cute. I loved coloring this image, especially all of the shadows. It really helped the scene come to life.

It's finally here! Three new releases from Annabelle stamps and my first release on the DT! The designs are beautiful and it was hard to decided which set to feature today... But I chose Remember When. A large set featuring various poppies and sentiments. 

I haven't used my Distress Markers in a while, so I decided to watercolour! I stamped the image on watercolour paper with Archival ink, and got to colouring. The background is my favourite part and it's what took the most time too! Many, many layers of turquoise ink later and I had that soft, yet striking wash of blue to set off the red poppies. And just in case you're wondering, I did intentionally bleed the red out of the lines a little. I thought it would give the blooms a little glow... 

Finally I can start sharing some new designs from Stampendous!! It's almost time for CHA and that means new releases from all of our favourite companies. Stampendous has some tricks up their sleeves this release and the news is quite exciting! I won't announce it yet, but if you want to guess you can take a look through our July Catalog! 

So! Onto the sharing! I am glad I can finally show you a card from a class I designed for Clipper Street Scrapbooking Company. Classes are starting soon and I am looking forward to making some Christmas cards with you!

Today Technique Tuesday is revealing this month's set called Daisies!

 I had to turn to the internet for inspiration, because, you know, I've never seen a daisy in my life before, right? Not really, but all I could think of is the white and yellow ones... I totally forgot about Gerber Daisies!!

I love how the tips are white, so I aimed for that effect.

I'm here today with a fun challenge from Annabelle Stamps. 

Here's my card: 

I stamped the black circles on an orangey-red background then I dry-brushed some teal acrylic paint on top. I love teal and orange together!! 

I finished the card with a sentiment and the circle from Sentimental Bluebells.

Good morning to you! It's time for another wonderful Deconstructed Sketch and I had a lot of fun creating today's design. 

To make the background I punched lots of little circles (13 of each, to be exact) and started gluing them to a piece of white cardstock starting at the bottom and staggering them all the way to the top. Pretty, right? I love ombre! 

The sentiment is from the MFT stamp set: Framed Greetings. It comes with a die so that was handy!
