Whimsie Doodles Blog Hop


Welcome to our 2nd Birthday Blog Hop!  We are so excited that you are here and we cannot wait to celebrate with you!  In honor of Whimsie Doodles' second birthday, Melyssa has designed an adorable new rubber stamp set-- woo hoo!  I love that it is Whimsie's birthday, but we get all of the presents!

Before I show you the new images, let's get to the nitty gritty on how today's BLOG HOP will work, shall we?
  1. Each participant must visit each Doodlelicious Diva design team blog and leave a comment.  At each blog you will collect a letter, which you will unscramble to receive 20% off in the Whimsie Doodles store until midnight on Thursday, March 17th!

And now for the star of today's show.... this is Baby Joy!




and here's the card I made showcasing this adorable set:


  1. I stamped out the wave set numerous times on the blue patterned paper and cut them out. 
  2. I adhered the waves on top of the solid piece of patterned paper and hid the glue line with lace! 
  3. I lightly sponged white and grey ink in the background with a home-made cloud template. 
  4. To make the sentiment cloud I stamped the sentiment on white paper and sketched a cloud shape in pencil around the sentiment and cut it out. 
  5. The sailboat is paper pieced using 3 different patterned papers.
