OOOwee do the prizes at PapertreyInk look good.. Have you seen them? Paper and ribbon, and stamps.. So I couldn't pass this opportunity up.
I have wanted to do this card for a while, but a) haven't had the punch, and b) was lazy. hehehe.. So I bought Martha punch the other day with a 40% off coupon at Michael's and set to work.. It's actually inspired by the cover of Martha's latest wedding magazine. I can't find a pic right now, but you know what I mean right? Here's my card for the "Over the Rainbow" challenge.. It's one of my fav. cards I've ever done...
I used a variety of patterned papers and solid carstock for the butterflies, AMuse jewels, and the sentiment from PTI's set called Beautiful Blooms, and the Martha Stewart punch shown.
The second card is for a chance to win a butt-load of ribbon. It was a sketch challenge, and you had to connect the dots to figure out the sketch.. Here's the post.
I used the Polka Dot basics stamp set and stamped on PTI kraft paper, punched out the hearts with an EK punch, and adhered the hearts to white with pop-dots.
The black patterned paper is also PTI from a 8x8 paper pack. I simply love this card. It's gonna be a hard one to give up, that's for sure.
Additional supplies: SU! Scallop punch, MM brads.
