Hello hoppers!! Welcome to my blog and if you've come from DoBea Alberts' blog you're in the right place!
A huge perk that comes along with designing for companies like The Twinery is collaborations!! This week all of us at the Twinery got to play with exclusive dies from Top Dog Dies. If you haven't heard of them, check out the website - in addition to their own dies they carry a huge selection of dies from a lot of your favorite companies!
So... Shaker cards... Do you love 'em or hate 'em?
I decided that I would design a prototype and have a little fun experimenting with the shaker card phenomenon. I hope you like them!!!
I received a super-cute set of dies called Baby On Board and used the preggo Mommy-to-be die in black. If you know me then you know I'm a fan of silhouetted images and this hip momma just pops against the pastel background, right? There are bunch of sequins in the pocket as well as a star die cut. I finished the card off with some pretty Twinery Twine of course!
This is the first shaker I've ever made and I just had to make more, lol!!!

Do you spy the baby carriage in the shaker? It's another die from Baby On Board and I thought it would be cool to throw one of the dies in amongst the sequins! It's funny, when you have a shaker card in your hand you can't not shake it.. It's addictive, lol!
Here are some other cards made from my prototype:
(fonts cut with my Silhouette)
So as you can see, I played around with different shaker stuff and sentiments (YES, I noticed I lost an dot for my "i" somewhere along the way) and I will say that having the master-plan made these cards go very quickly!
Prizes:
The Twinery will be giving away a Sampler Pack of Twines ($25 retail value).
Top Dog Dies will be giving away exclusive wafer thin dies ($50 retail value).
Hoppers can visit the Twinery blog and the Top Dog Dies blog to find out how to enter to win.

You are on a roll! I love all of your cards and have yet to make a shaker card myself yet. I really want to but simply haven't done it yet. As for the lost dot from your "i", you should be able to take a black permanent marker and add it without a problem :)
