Yesterday I started to panic because my fiance' and I don't have a lot of wedding plans solidified, so I thought I'd go out and buy some stamps and get some prototypes made. The first card has stamps by The Cat's Pajamas and they are like my fiance and I. Sarcastic, :eyesrolling: etc... The second card more suits a wedding invite, and I think suits the colors we've (I've) picked for our wedding. (Sky blue, grey, black, and white). So please help me decide!!
Card #1
Card #2

I can't help you... I think they're both fabulous! :D Is one easier to mass-produce than the other? :\
ReplyDeleteOMG! They are both wonderful...depends on the feel of your wedding...the first one seems a little more fun and whimsy. The second feels a little more traditional ( could just be the black and white with a splash of color...that is a hard one!
ReplyDeleteThe second one may be more elegant...but the first one cracks me up!!! Love it
ReplyDeleteWell Tobi I love the 2nd one and whilst its gorgeous and all that, the first one is sooo funky and different, and will be remembered for years to come by the recipients, I think it's super duper different and especially for you....
ReplyDeleteHeh Tobi, love the chance to vote on your invite. You make amazingly wonderful cards. Such creativity.
ReplyDeleteSo talented!!!!
They are both fabulous ... but if you think the first one captures the spirit of your relationship ... I'd go with that.
ReplyDeleteI love 'em both but the 1st one rocks!
ReplyDeleteBecause you are my best friend, I can say this without offending...You are a dork!!! Leave it to you to put up 2 equally awesome invites and expect us to choose! My opinion (strictly based on tradition) is card #2. The first one's cute too though. Could you maybe use that idea for Thank-You cards?
ReplyDeleteThey are both gorgeous, truly but i always opt for funny (many times to my detriment)... hope your poll helps you decide!!
ReplyDeleteThey are both great cards! You are truelly talented. I just finished up an order of 150 wedding invites and was SO happy that they were very basic, beatufiul, but basic. I had never done a large order of anything like that before. Good luck on your invites, your wedding, and your marriage!
ReplyDeleteBoth are great cards, but I think you have to have some fun thrown in! Good luck with the preparations xxxx
ReplyDeleteAdorable!!!
ReplyDeleteI chose card #2 although I love card #1 too. I was just more drawn to #2.
ReplyDeleteVery cute cards. I have volunteered to make my son's wedding invitations and have been considering the various kinds of "formal" invitations with vellum and scrolly script and the usual pomp and circumstance. But why not make the invitation like a card, like yours? I love them both. Thanks for the inspiration! Will you be enclosing a reply card and envelope with these?
ReplyDeleteI LOVE,LOVE, LOVE the first one!
ReplyDeleteThe first one is so cute, and I think you could go more informal with a Save the Date. For the actual invitation, I think I would go a little more formal. I love your color scheme, so pretty!
