August TSG Blog Hop–Day 4 (iSpy Sketch #30)

It’s the last day of sneak peeks and Torico has created the most adorable moving set,  which we think will help to ease the pain of moving just a little! Most people do NOT like to move, and this super cute set has an image and sentiment for every occasion, whether you be the one moving, or if you are sending one to a friend or family member. With a major transition such as moving, a hand stamped greeting is JUST the thing to say goodbye, hello, or just a plain welcome to the neighborhood….and there’s a DOG!!!!

I stamped the image onto watercolour paper and coloured with Ranger Distress Markers. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!! Once I was done colouring I added some shading with a charcoal pencil and blending stump. I used a bunch of My Mind’s Eye papers in the background… Kinda bright, right?? AVERT YOUR EYES!!


To get a little help putting this together I used this week's iSpy Sketch: ISSC30 from Jacquie Southas ( Jacquie J @ SCS) and is based on this card.

      Love how bright the coloring is. Haven't tried my Distress Markers yet, you just made me want to get them out. Love your layers too.

      Great colouring...love how you used a charcoal pencil to blend. The papers are bright but you always make them work.
