Ian (my fiance') took one of my Copic colouring classes because he was sick of looking at all of my markers and not knowing how they work. Yes, he could have just asked me at home, but he probably wouldn't have got 2 hours of ME, and lots of practical experience.. so...
I made him colour this for my brother (note I said MADE), and he did not a bad job. I told him he needs to start with a lighter colour of green so there are highlights because even if you add darker tones they don't show up as well when you don't have light... It's a good lesson. Always start with a light light colour because highlights are what give an image dimension and depth.
So IAN coloured it and I made the card. I told him he has to learn how to do that next so he can make some cards for me!! Hahaha... I think it turned out pretty cute too. Here's the inside:
