It was a "challenging" weekend..

because I played along with a bunch of challenges! Haha... I'm so funny... NOT! I had a lovely weekend of nothing to do (except some marking) so I played along with a few challenges. It was fun because I tried a couple techniques I wouldn't normally have tried, and I used some products I haven't used yet too!

The first card is from last week's There She Goes challenge: stamp simply. No colouring in, just the stamped image.

I actually really love this one. No colouring and it's awesome! I used a
set called "Happy Day."

This is from friday's Free For All challenge: island inspiration. I used the butterfly gardens on Vancouver Island for my inspiration:

I used a great little set called Wingin' It. It's lovely..

The next three cards were for a few challenges at SCS's virtual stamp night. I only did 3, but that's okay!
This first card was a challenge to stamp something with a bird on it:

Another great little set called "Home Tweet Home."

This next challenge was to think of a wedding song, or YOUR wedding song and make a card based on it. I sang/recorded a song called "Greatest Gift" at my wedding, so this is the card I made:

I used an old Kim Hughes set.. I love the simplicity!

And finally, a card that has something to do with wishes or a fairytale. I HAD to use this stamp:

I used a large set called "My Little Princess" and only a few are available..

So that's what I did! Can you spot some new product? New My Mind's Eye papers, a new Sizzix die that makes that flower in the card above, a cuttlebug embossing folder I've never used before.. It was a very productive weekend!!

Thanks for stopping by!
