Look at all those beautiful sets!!!
I have already sneaked a couple of the sets (you can see Timeless here and Butterfly Sunshine here) and today I'm sharing projects with Backgrounds By Design 8 and Splat Attack... Lots of fun!!
First, a card with BBD8:
I absolutely LOVE banners so I had to use the banner stamps in the set. I stamped them in Versamark onto the red, orange and yellow cardstock, and embossed with white embossing powder. Then, I layered them on the patterned paper (it wasn't my idea, the original paper has some banners on it, I just covered them up! Smart, eh??) and sewed them in place. Then the sentiment was stamped (don't you love that funky font?) and I added some sequins to fill up some of the "white space."
Next, a couple cards with Splat Attack. They both use the same formula which yielded some cool results:
Ombre green... I am really into making my own backgrounds lately so I took the single chevron stamp in the set and repeated it in a bunch of different green inks. The sentiment is cool because COLOUR (or COLOR if you're American) is a separate stamp, so you can coordinate it with your card!
My lips didn't end up being ombre as much as just a bunch of different shades of red and pink - but it did the trick! I had to explain what "Mwah!" meant to my husband... MEN! The bright red lip next to the sentiment was embossed with red embossing powder. In real life it's super glossy!!
If you love the whole collection of new sets and would simply love to have them all then we have a deal for you! Follow the link HERE to the bundle package and you will save 20%!! Not only that but the bundle qualifies for FREE shipping!
