Hi guys! I have had the strangest stomach bug the last couple of days and haven't felt much like creating, so it's a good thing I got a lot done this past weekend! I was on a roll for a few days and actually worked ahead. If you know me, then you know that this NEVER happens; I am always the last one to submit a card for a challenge or I'm scheduling my blog posts at 11:59!!! It feels good to have projects done ahead of time on days like these where I can't sit upright for longer than 10 minutes. I MUST remember this for the future, but knowing me it won't change much...
Onto today's card:
My mojo was flowin' that night! I know, because this danged starburst background is sometimes a pain-in-the-butt but I really wanted it to highlight this week's challenge. One triangle for each colour.... It was fun to go through my patterned paper and find just the right colour to match.
Isn't this image a beauty? I get asked ALL THE TIME which do I prefer: Copics or Distress Markers?? I never know what to say since they are so different. For me, there is NO WAY I could get my Copic markers to get this beautiful swoopy sunset look. Watercolour markers have a beauty all their own and when I want a background to look like this - Distress Markers all the way! (I used the Broad Distress Waterpen to get that sunset look... Tutorial in the future, perhaps?? It's really easy...)
