Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

So... I haven't posted in MANY days and usually that means one thing: I was freaking busy beyond my wildest imagination!! I had a marathon of concerts last week, a whole bunch of school stuff, a lot of Christmas cards to make and, oh yah... I FLEW TO SASKATCHEWAN FOR CHRISTMAS!! I have never "gone away" for Christmas before, but my parents moved to this "lovely" (frozen) province to a town in the middle of nowhere so this year we flew to them!

So before we left I had to whip up hand-crafted goodies, and here they are:

This was a frustrating card to put together. I stamped the background with a now sold-out There She Goes set and after I did that I sat and stared at it for a while... When I stopped staring I decided I would pull out some random Christmas embellishments and see where they would take me... It turned out pretty will and I happily gave it to my second-cousin-once-removed for Christmas!

I was playing around with random die cuts again and paired them with some awesome Pink Paislee papers and The Twinery Twine.  This happy card is sitting alone on my desk... I am hoping to still give it to someone when I get home.

These tags were a Christmas Eve rush-job. I used a set called Santa Tags by Technique Tuesday. They sure helped the situation along a little quicker!

Lastly, I made this Greenhouse Society card in my Mom's craft room:
It's so weird crafting in someone else's space..  My Mom uses a lot of different products than I do, and little things like cardstock thickness and colours really threw me.. I'm used to my stuff, my way! Crafters are very particular, aren't we? I brought my new Memento Luxe inks with me to try out and I love them! The stamped image came out so vivid.

I hope you have a fun New Years! I will be flying home (hopefully.. The weather is horrible!) and will probably be spending New Years with my little puppy and the rest of the gang.
Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned for my "best of 2013" post!
