I love that we have this day... A day to celebrate us weird crafty types that love to spend hours and hours and lots of $$$$ making pint-sized works of art! Today I am showcasing a couple of cards showcasing Penny Black stamps! We, the SRM design team, were gifted with some awesome stamps from the very generous people at PB, and we had to make some cards with them... oh if you insist... Check out not only the SRM Blog today, but the Penny Black blog as well for some WCMD celebrations!!
I LOVE this image (a Thorny Affair), and apparently I have good taste because it's sold out right now, but I'm positive they'll get some more soon! Isn't he cute??? I used some papers from Basic Grey and my Copic markers ofcourse! And what could be easier than slapping on a sticker sentiment to finish the card off?? Easy-peasy.
Aren't those guys CUTE???!!! This stamp is from a clear set called Mimi's Christmas, and I actually thought I would colour up one of the Mimi stamps first, but those little penguins were just too cute.. And I wanted to make a long card, so it all worked out. I airbrushed some grey "sky" on the top of the image, then slapped another sentiment right on top!
And now for some exciting news...
I'm a Technique Tuesday Stamping Tech!!!
I've been a fan of TT for a long time and am SO glad they decided to go the "design team" route, and even more excited that I was chosen to be on the team with some seriously talented ladies!!
Technique Tuesday will also be celebrating WCMD on Splitcoast in their Member Forum, so head over there for some fun! (And see my announcement!!!)
Now go have some fun!!!
