Just Because..

I sat down one day to make cards just because. Isn't that weird? Weird for me, maybe. I always seem to have some deadline I'm chasing, or some challenge I'm doing, and it's rarely (lately) that I ever just sit down and create.

I made these cards with some brand-new My Mind's Eye papers.. I was hoarding my new papers (like I usually do) saying to myself that ONE DAY I'll use them for something really special... Well, that never really happens in my world so I bit the bullet and cut into my precious paper with good results!

I cut out the bird and butterfly shapes with the Making Memories Slice. (I've heard from so many people that have troubles with their machine, but I love mine... I don't use it enough, but I love it!) I also used sentiments from SRM called "We've Got Your Sticker" Sweet, and Hello (click to be brought to the SRM store) to finish them off.. The decorative brad is from MME and it's part of the same collection as the paper. (Alphabet Soup)
