TSG 103 - Monochromatic Magic

This week’s challenge is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the Week, Karen. She wants us to create a monochromatic card. In order to do that you would choose one or more shades of one color along with ONE neutral color to use in your creation. We can’t wait to see what you come up
with!

I chose yellow... Who knew? I stamped the image (from a new mini set called Tulip) in a light grey to keep the colour palette nice and soft. I also stamped the definition of tulip stamp in Ranger - Old Paper on the background of the cream cardstock. Shabby!

I gathered a few supplies in yellow and even made my own embellishment - the ribbon!

I dyed some seam binding with Tattered Angels Mist, Copic Y21 re-inker and some colourless blender solution. I cut out the banner with a nestabilities die and stamped the sentiment in grey.

I sprayed the doily with Tattered Angels in Marshmallow to make it glimmer...

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that utilizes monochromatic coloring, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (Apr. 25th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

Thanks for stopping by and sharing my birthday with me! That's right, I am happy to be 34 today. I had a great time celebrating with friends on the weekend, and I think I'm going to enjoy a quiet night at home with the fam!
