A tube:
I saw this tube and heard that we were getting some to play with and I was like,
"Uh...."
Nothin'... I was thinkin' and thinkin' of what I could do with these tubes and nothin' came. They came in the mail and I was still like,
"Uh...."
Then one day I went grocery shopping with the fam' and right near the till I saw the festive Holiday Hershey's Kisses and picked up a bag. I took them home, dropped them in the tubes and then, the mojo started flowing! Yay for chocolate! hahaha... This is what I made:
The snowflakes were cut using the Making Memories Slice. I decreased the size by .5 inches and then layered them on top of each other.
A clean and simple design with an SRM sticker (Live Life - Christmas) smack-dab in the middle. I mounted the stickers on white cardstock and punched them out with a 1 3/8" circle punch.
I have a band of two patterned papers (American Crafts) going around the tube. It's fairly thick paper and I had to use Sookwang tape AND Glossy Accents to keep the papers in place. The snowflake is tied to the tube with twine so the recipient could slip off the snowflake and use it as an ornament!
For more tube-a-licious inspiration check out the SRM blog for the next few days.. We've been creating up a storm, I tell you! Enjoy!
