April TSG Blog Hop Challenge Day 1

Hi! Welcome to a week of previews of There She Goes new releases! You are in the right spot if you've arrived here from Tammy's blog!
Once again Chris Dark has amazed us with a whimsical and spring-inspired stamp set. Who wouldn’t want to be outside enjoying the scenes of spring as everything comes to life? This set is a celebration of exactly that!
Garden of Life is a 3X4 stamp set that includes a total of 7 stamps and will sell for $7.

Instead of colouring the image in the traditional sense, I airbrushed with Copic markers to get a soft, overall suggestion of colour. I went tres shabby with this card. My husband said, "It looks like you ripped the paper in some sections." lol... Oh really? It does?

Have a bad day at the office? Or maybe you have a bad office every day? If either of these pertains to your situation, you will definitely enjoy this tongue-in-cheek set illustrated by Jessica…and anyone would be happy to receive a creation using this hilarious set!
Confidential is a 4X6 stamp set that includes a total of 12 stamps and will sell for $15.

I just bought a copy of Copic's Shadows &Shading book and tried a technique or two out. I struggle with realistic shadows and I hope to start mastering these skills, but this is my first crack at it:

Isn't she cute? So... I realize that a cast shadow (underneath the desk) would not be aqua, but I tried to employ the principles by making the skirt/chair darker etc.. Anyway.. Enough about colouring, back to the stamp set.. The sentiment I chose is hilarious and I decided to put it on the inside:

I can't wait to give this to one of the secretaries at school. They love my cards and will get a kick out of the sentiments in this set.

You have a chance to win the sets being previewed simply by visiting all of the Trendsetters' blogs and leave a comment on their challenge post. You are at the end of the hop, so head back to the TSG blog and leave your name if you've completed the hop!

See you tomorrow with another great peek!
