Tuesday Challenge card: Blingy Retro

hmmm... Bling and retro.. Not normally two words uttered in the same sentence, but I uttered. yes I did...

I combined two challenges in one with this cards. I got the color combo from Dawn's challenge, and I rooted through my new scrap pile (re: yesterday's post) and these two colors just jumped out at me. They just FELT retro to me, so I added the bird rubons (Hambly) they are TRES kitchy! Then, for the Jacksonbelle Challenge I added BLING in the form of Zva pearls on the clouds (and some detail with a glitter pen that you can't see.. hahah). Overall, I am extremely pleased with this card.. This will one of those cards I will keep for a while just to have some eye candy around. Lol..

Visit the rest of the team's BLING challenge,
and please play along and link your cards to the store blog so we can see!!!

Supplies: Paper: October Afternoon, PTI, unknown; Amuse stamp; Ranger espresso ink; PTI ribbon, Zva pearls, Hambly rubon.

  4. Stunning, truly outstanding.

Hey, on those paper flowers you commented on my blog. I DO have that punch they all have but thought they were using dies! So I ran out and bought them (using a coupon of course) and I do like mine. But now I'm like, DOH! I could have made them with the punches. haha. Too funny.
